This weekend, Willow is attending the SCAD Savannah Film Festival in Georgia, where her new film Into the Rainbow will premiere. On Sunday following the showing, she will also be doing a Q&A session. On top of that, Willow will also receive the Rising Star award. I will be updating this post with any new photos, videos, etc from the event, so be sure to check back! Congratulations, Willow!

“More than that Willow is the perfect example of being both human and performer. At one moment so natural and engaging to everyone on the set, the next moment so emotionally tied to the scene and the character… It was a moment in time that electrified her Director, the crew and everyone who was there working with her. For the right reason, the quality of a gentle warrior surfaced.” – WILLOW SHIELDS RECIEVES THE RISING STAR AWARD

Willow’s next film, Woodstock or Bust, has just finished shooting. Lucky for us, production released the first official poster for the film as well as a few stills. I have added the new photos to the gallery as well as some behind-the-scenes ones.

As you likely know, Willow debuted her Dear Social Media photo series at Beautycon. Teen Vogue published an amazing article covering the series as well as interviewing Willow. Willow gets real about art, feminism, social media, and making a change. I added the rest of the photos from the series to the gallery, but be sure to check out Willow’s inspiring interview with Teen Vogue.

“At this point in my life, I don’t think it’s enough to just speak. There’s beauty and strength to individuals who have a presence with their voice, and it’s so incredibly important. But I think on top of that, we need a community of people who speak through art as well. Art translates in a different way. Growing up in an artistic household, I started to understand and comprehend the issues in our country because I recognized it through art. Art triggers emotions inside of you that change the way that you think. Today, it’s not only important for everyone to try to get involved in making art, but also to recognize the art of other individuals as well. It will create more positive energy.” READ MORE
